1. How do I buy tickets?
Buying your ticket is very straightforward. Visit this link to buy your tickets in advance. An adult ticket is £8 but if you’re one of the first 500 to book, your ticket will cost only £4. Children under 16 are free of charge but please remember to buy a ticket for everyone as numbers are restricted.
2. You’re sold out and I want a ticket!
We expect the inaugural event to be very popular and tickets to sell our fast. If you’re unlucky and can’t get a ticket, never fear! Consider volunteering and get free entry. Or if you just want to enjoy the day, Contact us. We’ll email you if tickets come available.
3. Is there an early bird ticket deal?
Yes! Buy one of the first 500 tickets sold and pay only £4 per day!
4. Can we buy a family ticket?
As children under 16 enter for free, there is no need for a family ticket. But you do need to book a ticket for all children attending the festival as there are a limited number of tickets for each day.
5. Do I need to buy tickets in advance?
Yes! Eat Your Hert Out will be a very popular event and we have limited tickets for each day. Buying your ticket in advance guarantees your admission on the day. If there are no tickets available, you can contact us – we’ll let you know if more tickets become available.
6. Can I come along on both Saturday and Sunday?
We would be delighted to welcome you on both days as the programme will vary each day.
7. Are children welcome?
Children of all ages are exuberantly welcomed to Eat Your Hert Out and we have planned lots of entertainment for them to enjoy.
All children must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for their behaviour at all times. We ask that children respect the venue and do not play in the cordoned off areas.
7. Are dogs welcome?
Due to the nature and location of Eat Your Hert Out, dogs aren’t allowed at the festival. We are very sorry about this as we love dogs but it is just not possible. Disability dogs are welcome.
8. Is there disabled access?
Yes. Eat Your Hert Out is wheelchair accessible and limited number of disabled parking spaces on site. Parking is first come, first served and you must display your blue badge.
9. Where is Eat Your Hert Out being held?
Eat Your Hert Out is being held in Hertford, county town of Hertfordshire. This is the home of Wine2Trade, our premiere sponsor and so a fitting base for year one. We plan to visit other venues around Hertfordshire for future events.
10. Why is Eat Your Hert Out being held at a school?
“We believe the children are the future”. Seriously, we do. The more we teach our children about good quality, healthy food now (and the importance of exercise, of course!) the more information they have when they make food choices as an adult. Eat Your Hert Out is proud to donate 50% of our ticket sales to Abel Smith School to use to promote healthy eating and exercise to their pupils.
If you’d like to support Abel Smith School (charity number: 1047708) please feel free to contact them directly on 01992 583 244.
11. Is there parking on site?
There is no parking on site except for a limited number of disabled bays, available on a first come, first served basis. Our venue is only a few minutes walk from Hertford Town Centre car parks and Hertford East train station. We’re about a 15 minute walk from Hertford North train station.
